“The Pink Orchid checked all of our boxes. It was private, on the water with a dock, extremely comfortable and well stocked, and is close to West End and West Bay. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the sunsets were beautiful. Our tour guide picked us up from the dock in the morning and we watched the sunsets from the dock in the evening. We were close to all the great restaurants. We had massages on the back deck one morning and there was plenty of room for 3 people. The outdoor shower was so convenient to wash the salt off the gear and the outdoor furniture and hammock were perfect for everyone to relax. Al was great before and during our stay at communicating and guiding us. 10/10. If you want peace and comfort, this is your spot.”
“Pink Orchid is an incredible home to spend a Roatan vacation! The home is so beautiful and well equipped that you feel like you could stay forever. The home was incredibly clean and well kept. The outdoor area is so inviting with tables, chairs and lounges. The location is away from the crowds but only a walk or water taxi to West Bay or West End. Having access to sea kayaks provided us the opportunity to cruise the coast and travel out to snorkel the reef. It is a wonderful amenity to have available. The owners provided detailed information and suggestions for the Pink Orchid. They followed up right before the trip to ensure we had all the information we needed to make our trip memorable. We had an amazing trip and canāt wait to visit the Pink Orchid again.”
“We (a family of four, kids 5 and 10 years old) had the most amazing time staying at the Pink Orchid! A “dream-come-true-vacation”! This is a beautiful, relaxing, fun and very family-friendly place. Hammock, fresh coconuts, palm trees, snorkeling combined with a stylish home, flawless working AC, and well-equipped kitchen – what more can you ask for?! One thing we really appreciated was the location. Walking distance to both West End and West Bay, and no distance to great snorkeling – Unbeatable! Pam and Al are the most amazing, considerate hosts! Quick responses, reminders about everything from taxes to passport expiration dates, shopping lists (!) plus a great, extremely friendly onsite-team – we couldn’t have asked for more! In short, if you’re looking for a tropical, perfect getaway – this is where you should go! Highly recommended!”
“We are repeat guests of Pink Orchid and hope to return again! The location is ideal between West Bay and West End but quiet and private. We spent long days on the hammock on the deck, lounging in the cabana and snorkeling at the reef. The best snorkeling we’ve ever seen is right off the Orchid Beach dock. Pam and Al are so helpful and informative. The house is well-appointed with everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation (towels, kayaks, snorkel gear, washer/dryer, sunscreen/bug spray, full kitchen, grill). My husband also had some luck fishing from shore. The neighbors and property caretaker are all kind and friendly. The property is beautiful and we got a spectacular sunset every night.”
“We had a fantastic stay at The Pink Orchid in Roatan! The house was spotless, and communication about the rental, amenities, and local attractions was excellent. Al was always in touch before our visit, making sure we had all the details we needed. The location is perfectāboth West Bay and West End are easily walkable from the beach. The dock is a great spot for a swim, and thereās even a bit of snorkeling just north of it. We highly recommend this rental for anyone visiting the area!”

“This place is immense, everything you expect from the photos and descriptions is bang on, the house itself is beautiful inside and out. Great and serene location, basically a private beach with great swimming, snorkeling off the dock downstairs was incredible, easy walk to either west end or west bay. Great service from the property managers and the transport guys. Water taxis cheap as chips, did some scuba with a company just a stone’s throw down the beach (saw a turtle!! š). Great to even just lie in the hammock in the evening watching the macaws zoom past. Pretty epic all around. Thoroughly recommend it.”
“Staying at the Pink Orchid was a great experience. I was there with my wife, two young sons and in-laws and it was the perfect amount of space for the 6 of us to relax. Very nice interior decor that really fits the beach ambiance. There is a small beach and dock just a few steps down from the patio that we almost always had all to ourselves. You can snorkel right off the dock or kayak out to the main reef and have a private snorkeling adventure. Also you can easily walk along the beach in either direction to to West Bay or West end. The hosts were excellent as well, they sent a big packet of info on the house and things to do. All in all we had an absolutely wonderful time.”
“The home was probably one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have used ever. I mean not a speck of sand to be found in a rented beach home! Incredibly clean. Home appeared just as pictured and described. The owners provided plenty of helpful information well ahead of our stay and were very responsive and communicative during our stay as well. The location is peaceful and walkable, you could spend all day lounging on the dock. Water taxis pick up and drop off right there as well. There are a couple homes who share the dock, we had no issues with this, but I can see how it could get a little busy. There was a nice small sandy beach space with chairs provided in that event. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners were very efficient and cooled off rooms quickly. The home also felt pretty well insulated, we didnāt hear the family renting the home just behind us the entire stay! Kitchen was well appointed. Canāt wait to stay here again! Donāt hesitate to rent here!”
“Pink Orchid was beyond what we could have dreamt of. The house is beautifully decorated, well-furnished and provisioned. It sits on a hill overlooking the ocean for incredible sunset views. There are about 3 flights of stairs to the beach and long dock with a palapa. Our best days were spent under the cabana during breaks from the amazing snorkeling just off the dock. We used kayaks provided to go about a half mile to the reef visible from Pink Orchid and tied up to the same buoy as a paid snorkeling tour. We walked to a couple restaurants and easily flagged water taxis to go to West End. Would absolutely stay again!”
“My wife and I had been trying for about three years to make our schedules coincide where we could book this house. We have stayed several other places on the island of Roatan but none have the mix of privacy, location and water access as this house does. Pam and Alfredā¦the owners are awesome to work with and their people on site take care of everything. The neighbors, Connie and Bernard are super nice. If they are home, you show go meet them. Definitely have Blackie come in one night and cook for your group. She and her husband Marty have become great friends of ours and Marty does a on awesome job as a taxi provider. You are a 15 min Walk from either West End or West Bay and a 15-minute swim to the reef. Stop looking and book this house. It’s perfect!”
“The Pink Orchid house was the perfect place for our family to spend New Year’s. It was cozy and had everything we needed to feel at home. We had a great time kayaking and snorkeling, and the beach was beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again. The location of the house was also perfect, as it was within easy reach of all the attractions and activities we wanted to do. Overall, our stay at the Pink Orchid house exceeded all our expectations and we can’t wait to return in the future. One of the things we appreciated most about the Pink Orchid house was how welcoming and hospitable the owners were. They were available to answer any questions we had and provided helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. They truly made us feel like their guests and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.”
